I tried to post this review with 0 stars because of the horrible staff at this facility, but i had to give at least 1 to be able to post (which I regret!)
Must agree it seems "Customer Care" no longer exists. The Natural Resources has also suffered. The Prescribed burning program is a very important management tool when properly implemented. Lately the burns have been to hot killing hardwoods. This can be reduced by cutting down on size of area burned and using tight grid burn. A friend recently saw on TV 33 a Ranger stating the bald cypress are not indigenous to this area and plans are to slowly eliminate them. True they are not indigenous to this area but their benefit far out weigh this. I do think these items along with others need addressed before it's to late. Step back, take a deep breath, reconsider your actions and results and take appropriate action. Remember the 7 Ps
We will never be back to this toilet bowl (West Point Lake) again! Good riddance!!!
The Park Ranger was just as nasty! He explained that he was the one who hired the attendants ( humph? )!
I have brought a church group to Holiday Campground for years. A couple of years ago a new couple began attending the front gate there. Our experience went downhill fast! The new attendant and his wife are rude, brash, and nasty to everyone who comes to the campground.
